Akdemir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is established in the Aliağa Heavy Industry Zone on a total of 46,000 square meters of open and 13,000 square meters of closed area, and has been producing ribbed construction steel rolling mills since 1994 with a capacity of 400,000 tons per year.
The port is established on the coast of Nemrut Bay, northwest of Izmir, and is 60 km from Izmir and 2 km from the İDÇ factory. İDÇ Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş. has an annual loading and unloading capacity of 7 million tons with its 375 m long and 32 m wide pier, modern machinery park and trained personnel. İDÇ Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., which was established primarily to carry out the loading and unloading operations of the goods imported and exported by İzmir Demir Çelik A.Ş., also offers loading and unloading, transportation and warehousing services for third party goods. İDÇ directly owns 99.81% and indirectly owns 99.98% of the company with a paid-in capital of 23,000,000 TL.
