Flue Gas Denitrification (DeNOX Unit)

Flue Gas Denitrification (DeNOX Unit)

In order to meet the set NOx emission limit values, a DeNOx system will be installed in the power plant, as well as primary nitrogenation systems such as low NOX burners.

The DeNOx system will work on the basis of selective catalyst reaction.

To obtain the required reductant, urea solution will be prepared on site and ammonia + air mixture in gas phase will be obtained from the urea solution in a reactor and will be sprayed into the flue gas through special nozzles. The ammonia mixed with the flue gas will convert the nitrogen oxides in the flue gas into nitrogen and water vapor through a chemical reaction in the catalyst bed, ensuring that environmental impacts are minimized. The urea that will be used for ammonia production will be transported to the site in large bags with the help of trucks.
